Archaeologist Gabriel Barkay will be featured on Israel’s most popular English T.V. show, Tuesday Night Live. The show will be filmed at Hechal Shlomo, 58 King George Street, right next to the Great Synagogue, from 8:00 p.m. -10:00 p.m. Seating begins at 7:30 p.m.
For years now Dr. Barkay has directed the Temple Mount Sifting Project, where volunteers have sifted through mounds of dirt that were taken from the Temple. As noted in the brief announcement, the discovery he is most famous for are the silver amulets upon which the priestly blessing (Num 6:23-27) was incised.
